RISE Black Enters Top 10 in National Rankings

RISE Football Academy out of Puyallup, Washington (Northwest Conference) is only in it’s second year of existence, but don’t let that fool you. RISE is one the most talented teams in the country and they proved it when they traveled to Las Angeles, California and won The Best of the States National Championship against some of the  best teams in California.  Anytime a team travels out of conference and wins a national event, you have to take notice.  They boast one of the most physically gifted teams in the country which explains why they are ranked in the top 10 in the nation.

WR- Darius Morrison, c/o 2019 Young receiver with elite hands and body control.  6’3, 180, one of the best in state WR’s for his class.
WR- Ethan Eilertson, c/o 2019 Another young receiver who will grow into one of Washington’s best next year. Nice route runner, great ball skills, with terrific size at 6’3, 170
WR- Taj Moffett, Quick twitch, explosive receiver who is also being recruited at cornerback. A favorite to win state in the long jump.
WR- Maleke Pate, Very athletic. Has been running past any and all defenders.
RB- Jordan Bush-Johnson, Scat back that is rarely caught by the first defender.
RB- Connor Gregoire, Down hill runner with quick feet.
DB- Jurrian Herring, c/o 2019.  A State leader in the 110 hurdles, and 200 meters. As a 6’1, 170 sophomore he commands attention.
DB- Machiah Lee, Physical nickel back with very good cover skills. On film he shows his ability to play safety as well.
DB- Kasai Childress, Long, technically sound cornerback. His cover skills are very impressive.
DB- Lionelletui Mulitauaopele, Physically gifted cornerback who will more than likely find success as a safety at the next level.
DB- Mason Glover, Every time you turn on film he is making plays.
